Born in Israel Hila Cohen started her dance Education in the ballroom scene, shortly after graduating from the Hebreu University in Jerusalem her international relations studies. Coached mostly in Latin Dances she started pursuing also ballet as well as modern dance education.

From 1998 Hila spent two intensive years working closely with Israels best ballroom dancer Ivgeni Dudkin, who took her as his dance partner motivating her to start teaching. Ever since than ms. Cohen has been teaching and performing. Shortly before leaving Israel for Canada , Montreal - at 2000 - Hila was first introduced to Argentinian Tango By Ricardo Calvo and Kelly Tzarfati, followed by intensive Workshop with Pablo Veron. In Canada Hila continued her training program with world leading teachers and started competing.

Back in Israel in 2003 she kept on pursuing her ballroom work while developing her Tango Career, working closely with teacher Sylvia Rachshamir and performing with Argentinian born - Daniel Giatsu. In the years to follow Ms Cohen attended various workshops in Israel and Europe by world famous dancers - teachers such as Jeraldin Rochas, Gabriel Misse, Alejandra Mantinian... while herself continuing teaching private, groups, workshops for youngsters and adults In Israel.

In 2008 Ms Cohen had spent 3 intensive month in Buenos Aires taking private and group lessons with other important leading Tango teachers such as : Carlos Copello , Carlos and Roza Perez, Rudolfo Dinzel. As well as Workshops with Jorje Dispari,
Milena plebs , Osvaldo Zotto, Lorena Hermocida and Graciela Gonzales.
